The role of an in-home caregiver (PAB)
You support seniors and people who need help in their own homes, by day, evening or night.
- Help with hygiene, dressing, eating and moving around the home.
- Presence, companionship and respite for family caregivers: meals, errands, appointments, outings.
- Overnight presence at home.
- Observing and reporting to the supervising nurse.
Limits of the role

What does a home care PAB do?

Which shifts are available?
Support is offered days (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), evenings (4 p.m. to midnight) and nights (midnight to 8 a.m.), depending on client needs in your area. Your availability is discussed when you apply.
Will I be a Vemaro employee?
Yes. Vemaro Support PABs are salaried Vemaro employees supervised by a nurse.
