If you use the assistant, we also collect the messages you write to it.

Purposes: assessing your application, matching you with assignments and clients, and replying to you. Please do not send a SIN or ID at this stage.

Facility and partner enquiries

The form on the Facilities page collects the organization name, the type of facility, the province, the contact person's name, the email, the phone number and the description of the need so that we can process your request. The request is stored in our database and sent by email to info@vemaro.ca.

Home support request

To request an assessment, you write to info@vemaro.ca or call (438) 985-8740. We use the information you give us to process the request and prepare the initial assessment by the supervising nurse.

Browsing the site, cookies and abuse prevention

Our host may log technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, device type) for security and operation. The site uses no advertising or tracking cookie. A session cookie is required to sign in to Nurse Space. Your chosen language, your application draft and a copy of the files you send are remembered in your browser. To limit abusive submissions, we keep your IP address when you use the application assistant or submit the Facilities form.

Audience measurement: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure site traffic in aggregate. This tool uses no cookies and does not allow us to identify you.

Application assistant

If you use the Vemaro assistant, the messages you write are processed by an artificial intelligence service (xAI) to fill in your file. You can use the four-step form instead.

We do not sell your information and do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Who has access

Only authorized Vemaro staff who need it for their work (human resources, management, and the supervising nurse for Vemaro Support). We share it with third parties only with your consent, where the law requires it, or to obtain services from providers who process it on our behalf.

Providers and where information is kept

  • Website hosting: Vercel.
  • Database: PostgreSQL (Neon) when that database is configured; otherwise a PostgreSQL database built into the server.
  • Sending the site's emails: FormSubmit, to info@vemaro.ca.
  • Application assistant: xAI.
  • Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts; your IP address is then sent to Google.

Some of these providers may keep information outside Québec. We carry out a privacy impact assessment before any transfer outside Québec and require appropriate contractual protections.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as long as the law requires. We then destroy or anonymize it.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your information, its correction, its removal, or its transfer in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability), and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@vemaro.ca. We reply within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with Québec's Commission d'accès à l'information (www.cai.gouv.qc.ca/english/).

Privacy incidents

We keep a register of privacy incidents. If an incident presents a risk of serious harm, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned. To report an incident: info@vemaro.ca.

Security

We apply reasonable measures: encrypted transmission (HTTPS), limited and protected access, carefully chosen providers.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the current version appears at the top of the page.
